Have you ever...

Have you ever been sitting by the person you love, and thought to yourself, you are one of the luckiest people on this earth. Cliche, said before, overused. In a situation such as this however, I speak nothing but the truth I hold to myself, the truth in my opinion, the truth in my words fed back to me. People tend to doubt sometimes when they feel a certain something, or when they are about to say a certain something, perhaps due to the fact that they feel it won’t be taken lightly, or nicely. People tend to not trust their opinion, and yet they forget it is their opinion and their feelings, two ideas that should not be questioned when leaving your heart, your soul.

Is the world better when nobody speaks their mind, or when everyone speaks their mind? No, let me take this to a smaller group, your group, my group, or simply any group of tight friends. What is better, when everyone expresses their opinion, or when a leader takes charge? Perhaps the leader should simply be a planner, someone to lead them in to the situations  in which the group can express itself. Or someone to listen to all of the ideas and to put them together in a timely fasion. Those groups tend to be the best, the times in which nothing is going on behind the scenes.

Even in a relationship. An open mind is necessary, open conversation, or else that which is not said begins to build up, like the water filling up a dam. Sure at the beginning no real effects can be seen and for the most part things are contained, until the containment starts to reach the limit, the breaking point, the threshold. At that point, the damn begins to crack, leak, and bust open usually resulting in some untimely demise of the relationship, or just a lot of tears.

Luckily my relationship does not suffer from what I can the rising water syndrome. Perhaps some pieces of my life do however. Now look at yourself, examine yourself, and see what it is exactly that you are saying, thinking, and what in the end are you holding back. This could be word, this could be action. Now, is it for the better or for the worse? That all very simply perspective, opinion.
